Jay-Paul Thibault has traveled extensively throughout the United States. Having bicycled through 38 states and over 14,000 miles of the countries roads he has shown a doggedness and perseverance of the highest quality.

While on his NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) course in Kenya he spent three weeks hiking to the top of Mt. Kenya where the group carried all of their equipment form their base camp at 5000 feet to the top of the mountain at more than 17,000 feet.
After that he spent 3 weeks sailing off the coast of Lamu (the most northern city before Somalia) in a dhow while learning about the Muslim culture on the coast as well as the local language of Swahili.
At the end of that section the group took the train from Mombasa to Nairobi (the same train used in "Out of Africa") to go hiking for several weeks through the Rift Valley in south-western Kenya. In this section he studied the Maasai culture was chased by a water buffalo in the night and was shown how to catch a Black Mamba (he chose to decline the actual task).
Jay-Paul Thibault then spent two weeks on a safari, and designing courses while learning additional leadership and communication skills.
For all of this he earned his final credits for his degree and returned to the United States that spring to graduate from the University of Maine.

Factoring in the two Outward Bound courses and the three months he spent in Kenya these ventures have allowed him to strongly develop and finally tune his leadership and personal skills.
When you include the eleven-plus years he has had of search engine optimization (SEO) and Online Marketing, these additional experiences have been used in his development of his web marketing skills combined with his ability to listen to the needs of a client and do what it takes to accomplish the goals they set.

  • Starting with his first Outward Bound in 1986 he continued to take another Outward Bound the next year.
  • In 1998 Jay-Paul Thibault then bicycled 4,600 miles across the Northern United States.
  • In 1997 he spent three months in Kenya on a course focusing on leadership and team development techniques.
  • In 2004, after selling his very successful online B2B and B2C sales company he undertook his longest trip yet of 9,300 miles gong from Yorktown, VA to Seattle, WA to San Diego, CA and returning to St. Augustine, FL.
